Que surpresa maravilhosa! O Meca Retreat era tudo o que o site prometia e muito mais: espaçoso, moderno, mas cheio de charme do velho mundo. Estava impecável, aceitava cães e sentimo-nos imediatamente bem vindos.
O nosso único arrependimento foi não termos ficado mais tempo. Da próxima vez, levaremos certamente mais familiares e desfrutaremos de uma estadia mais longa. Recomendamos vivamente esta joia escondida!

Meca Retreat is a comfortable well equipped property set in a very peaceful rural area of North Portugal. There are panoramic views from the house and you can hear the tranquil chimes from the church across the valley. The owners are extremely helpful and there is an added bonus of the swimming pool especially on hot days. There are plenty of walks around the village but a car is essential to explore the interesting area, we would thoroughly recommend a visit to Ponte de Lima. Close by is a small shop and about 2 kilometres away a Restaurant that serves delicious food at a very reasonable price. We did enjoy our stay at Meca Retreat ,our Thanks to Beverley.

Spent a wonderfully relaxing week at Meca Retreat. The traditional house has been beautifully renovated, keeping all the original features but with modern amenities. The views are spectacular and the only sounds you will hear are the church clock chiming on the hour and the odd farm dog barking. Large enough for a family but cosy enough for a romantic stay. The owners pay attention to detail and communication is excellent. Thank you! We will definitely make a return trip.
